Celebrating its 8th year of providing fascinating educational entertainment, DINOSAURS ROCK has taken over 1 Million children at thousands of schools, camps, and special events on an amazing 65 million year learning adventure! "See and Touch", up-close, giant exhibits with 50+ museum-quality fossils, minerals and genuine dinosaur artifacts... life-size T-Rex skull, 9 ft high Ice Age mastodon leg, genuine dinosaur footprints & eggs, meteorites, trilobites, glittering minerals like massive amethyst towers, real gemstones, a rainbow of colorful specimens. . .
We offer two highly original, interactive shows: DINOSAURS ROCK¬ Fossil or GEMS ROCK» Mineral Adventures. Your students will be "wowed" byexpert instructors. . . audience participation required! Each show includes exclusive hands-on activities: DINOSAURS ROCK Fossil Digs; Excavations; GEMS ROCK Gemstone Mining; Geode Opening, Mineral crafts and Jewelry-Making, original art projects created by audience members. Each student will take home real fossils and/or minerals -- they discover chunks of dinosaur bone, shark teeth, real rubies & emeralds ... to keep! Added excitement is created through demonstrations of fluorescent minerals, magical magnetic & X-Ray Rocks». DINOSAURS ROCK also conducts multi-session after-school, Science Fair and fund-raising programs. Plus, in-depth Dinosaur Camps and special events at nature centers and corporate family days. Clients include National Geographic, The Bronx Zoo and Yale's Peabody Museum. It's the authentic learning experience, based on school curriculum standards. Fees: Fee depends on number of students participating, number of sessions
conducted and hands-on activity options selected. Qualifies for NY
BOCES arts-in-ed funding.
Touring dates: We serve the Tri-State NY, NJ & CT area and will travel to other
states, depending on scale of event. DINOSAURS ROCK has locations in
NC & TX. We conduct our programs year-round.
