JEFF DANGER, SCIENCE RANGER offers educational, entertaining, and fun science programs to engage and motivate children to continue science studies, improve test scores, and pursue science-related careers. He is known for his ability to translate scientific concepts to ideas children can understand and to make them laugh at the same time. Jeff Danger's shows are infused with unmatched educational value:
PHYSICAL SCIENCE VARIETY SHOW: K-8th, MOST POPULAR PROGRAM - the basics of many important scientific ideas with flabbergasting demonstrations of natural forces. Students explore physics of force & motion, properties of spinning objects & gyroscopes, the Bernoulli Effect & Newton's 3rd Law, flying balloon helicopters & gravity, molecules, polymers, and the science of diapers!, magnetism & robots, morse code telegraph & SOS, potential energy & the diet coke / mentos experiment, and more.
SCIENCE OF GLOBAL WARMING: 2nd-8th, Using science demonstrations & experiments, in combination with a slide show, the basics of global warming and the green house effect are presented. With experiments about air, air pressure, carbon dioxide, and alternative energy sources like solar power and wind turbines. Ideas on making environmentally responsible choices are also presented.
* HANDS-ON CHEMISTRY WORKSHOP: 2nd-8th, Safe material and solutions, all material, equipment, supplies provided. Children explore: the chemistry of super absorbent polymers, carbon dioxide production, Alka Seltzer & expanding gases, chemistry of rubber worms, and experiment with "space" sand.
